Product Description Now in paperback: "A genuinely holistic blueprint for a healthy, happy, and long life" The old saying goes that "living well is the best revenge." In recent years thats come to signify conspicuous consumption rather than aging with good health, vitality, and a keen mind -- but all the luxury in the world wont make up for an existence thats lacking those three things. In The Longevity Bible, expert Dr. Gary Small offers scientifically proven -- yet still fun and exciting -- ways to keep the brain, body, and attitude young and vital well into our sixties, seventies, and beyond.

Longevity Bible? December 22, 2008 Mary K. Brown (New Jersey) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this book based on previous reviews, BUT to me, as a retired health professional, there were not really any new insights into what one should do to extend their life. The quality of life may well be improved, by doing and eating as one should, but extending one's life is not a subject that is up for debate! It is determined by a much higher power!

A Must Read January 3, 2007 William H. Johnson (Georgetown, SC) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I originally bought "The Longevity Bible" for my girl (?) friend who had recently suffered a broken leg, followed by a mild heart attack. I had it delivered to my house, and decided I had better look it over before giving it to her. I couldn't put it down. It is the most complete book on gaining & maintaining one's mental & physical health I have ever read (and trust me, I've read plenty).
How to shape up and stay strong. September 23, 2006 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Just a hundred years ago the average person didn't live much beyond 40: today modern medicine is promising many the opportunity to live into their nineties - but what about fading health and vitality? THE LONGEVITY BIBLE: 8 ESSENTIAL STRATEGIES FOR KEEPING YOUR MIND SHARP AND YOUR BODY YOUNG tells how to live longer and better, with chapters advocating building stress-free years and lifestyle, and telling how to shape up and stay strong.
